Well, i guess being an EPL team player isn't the same as "EPL player"? My scout found a lot of players being "free-transfered by insert_EPL_club", and they always turn out to be crappy. I don't know the whole English system, but as some stage being "EPL player" means only that this player was graduated from some EPL club training system. And, given the amount of players used in training system and really class output there's nothing unusual that many LL teams players are from "big clubs".
Another point is that of Ian. I suppose that "ex-player" means that the guy actually _played_ for his big team. No real matches - no name. Just a player.
The player in my case was given away on loan twice to L1 (former D2) team, and to ECN in my save. Totalling at about 20 games during 5 seasons, i don't really know if it makes him great or what. My suggestion is that were cup matches, or late substitutions, though it could be otherwise as well.
And, Ian, i guess questioning about keeping to LLM ethics is a year late at least
