FM2008, fully patched. Loaded all leagues from the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France and Russia with a large DB.
Reputation was set to automatic and I started unemployed. I was offered a job in Portugal.
2007/2008 - Clube Desportivo Ribeira Brava
Off to the lowest Portuguese league (which consists of several groups).
I finished 8th out of 14 teams which got me relegated... Relegation play-offs suck arse
After I lost my job I went on holiday. I got offered the Merthyr Tydfil job. After a couple of matches I decided to end my reign there because the total lack of players and staff didn't really work for me.
I got offered the job of managing VfL Sportfreunde Lotte in Germany soon after that. That worked better for me.
2008/2009 + 2009/2010 + 2010/2011 - VfL Sportfreunde Lotte
Since I forgot the details I'll put all these seasons together.
The first two seasons went well, finishing 12th out of 18 teams. Again, I was managing in the lowest league possible. Which in Germany also consists of multiple groups, if I'm not mistaken.
The third season I managed to get us relegated a couple of matches before the end of the season. I'm crap...
I resigned and almost immediately got a job in Belgium at K. Lierse SK. They were expected to finish 1st (once again in the lowest league possible). When I got the job they had already finished the regular season in 4th place awaiting their return match in the quarter-finals of the promotion playoffs. I won that match but went out of the play-offs on away goals...
2011/2012 - K. Lierse SK
The board once again wanted us to finish 1st. Up until about 3 matches before the end of the season we were in 1st place. Then we played the number two team at home and, obviously, we lost.
In the end we managed to finish 2nd and we are now awaiting the draw for the promotion play-offs. Also, we are very much in the red. But that's not really my problem.
