What about when English teams were banned form european competition? The top English players like Terry Butcher & Chris Woods couldn't wait to play in the Scottish League. It really P*sses me off when people (mostly English it has to be said) critisise the standard of the scottish league. Granted it may not be great but if you think about it neither is the English league because only Chelsea,Man U, Arsenal and possibly Liverpool have a realistic chance of winning it. The only reason they are able to attract high quality players is because these players realise that clubs are prepaired to pay obscene amounts to them in wages. Ok rant over! </BLOCKQUOTE>

And secondly the teams fighting relegation in the EPL are better than the competition fighting for Europe in the SPL. </BLOCKQUOTE>

And the EPL is twice the size of Scotland you ******.

Ok, Rangers held Barcelona to a draw and only lost 2 nil at the Nou Camp. Celtic beat AC Milan 2 - 1... Liverpool couldn't even do that in there most recent final.

He's giving all the English a bad name, next he'll be saying "MYLTON KEYNZ DONZ CUD WIN TEH SCOTTISH LEAGUE LUL"

I had this prob with kilmarnock in fm07 mate... for about 5-6 seasons i always came second (or sometimes first) in the SPL and always gave a good accounting of myself in the champs league.

however at the start of every season i was always told i was concidered one of the weaker teams in the comp.

that is until i happened to win the uefa cup. After that my rep shot up.

Don't know if it is the same prob in this FM but it seems that winning the uefa is alot more important than getting to the semis of the champs league :/

no offence but i prefer to watch England Champion league or u call it division one more then SPL. LOL

even team like west brom , or charlton fight for the promotion is more entertaining.

In all honesty the scottish league is crap, maybe this is down to the scottish fa though?? if you look at it all the best leagues in the world have 20ish teams in them, this might not be it but who knows? if you had 20 teams in your SPL maybe you would get more places in europe??
