The media prediction, is it ever anything other that last years table, with the three promoted teams listed in promoted order?
Do they ever predict another team to come much stronger this season and oust the reigning champions?

Just out of curiosity....

I think they do predict who will come where next season. I had Liverpool and finished third. The following year my meda prediction was a 1st place finish. (On FM 07)

No, you were on the right lines, I was simply adding something I forgot to put in to begin with.
I did mean, say for instance, Arsenal win the Prem but next year the media predict Liverpool to win title, because they always seem (in my games) to just list last years league from 1 to 17, then the bottom three are the promoted teams from the league below listed in order (Champions 18th, 2nd place 19th and play-off winners 20th).
Didn't mean to confuse the issue.

I find the media predictions are usually pretty safe/sound.

As an example:

I started a game in Norway and took over a newly-promoted bottom division team. We're predicted to finish last. One of the other teams in another group (same division) has 3 - 4 M GBP in the bank :eek: and is expected to finish 3rd.

One idea I'd like to see is different media predictions for title/promotion/relegaton from different sources (bbc, sun, guardian, etc). Even to list say 4 different predictions from 4 different sources.

To use my Norway example, one source might look at that rich team (as a reference my team has... I think 20,000 quid in the bank) and say 1st. Another might play it safe and say 3rd.
