So, I've just been relegated from the Swiss Super League with a record low amount of points. I've actually done an amazing job getting any though, since the trained monkeys in the boardroom didnt turn professional when we got promoted, leaving me with the drawing power of a pub team in a fully professional league. I'm not going to scream bug, utterly retarded boards are part of real football, and I know a lot of others on here have suffered with them.

So, make me feel better? Been sacked for bankrupting the club after the board built a needless stadium? Sold your star players then got you relegated?

Out of curiosity, how many points did you get?

25 points, finished on. Safety was 36. Didnt really do too badly getting that, just with a part-time team I couldnt manage to attract anyone decent at all and my defence were woeful, 78 conceded. My "star" defender had all 12s for his key stats :p In the summer I'm going to get someone with the mighty... 14! :o San Marinese kid, but his positioning's rubbish... just cant get anyone better.

Hmm. I'm in the German 2nd division and I've got 3 points from 12 games :thup: Almost want to finish the season quickly now to see if I can "beat your record"

Speaking of stupid boards...in 07 did anyone ever get Montrose to become professional?

There's quite an art to performing that badly, but not getting sacked. My board are quite happy with me, I'm on target for meeting the long term goal of establishing myself in the league (I only can if I get re-promoted) and now at lower level all they want of me is to finish top half. I've even been given £1.2m transfer budget! My San Marinese kid was a HUGE-money signing at £250k :p

Ah, a moan about the board thread, brilliant.

My idiotic chairman accepted £775k and £1.4m for my two star players, both of which I had pulled out of £5m deals to sell them earlier in the season.

So you're semi pro? Still, look at the bright side, that's better than amatuer.

I remeber that someone's board upgarded their stadium, then moved them to White Hart Lane or somewhere for 6 months while it was expanded. The stadium upgrade nearly bankrupted them. After they got back, the board (of their own accord) built an entirely new stadium, despite being in the red. This stadium had a lower capacity than the original before it was upgraded! They had 10 points deducted for entering adminastration.
