Has anyone else seen their roster in the game? In mine it is all grey players with an "obscure" reputation.

But they all have very good ratings and they win games in the championship....weird.

It's because SI don't have the licence for the German national team.

They use the same statistics as the actual players, so if you compare their left back to Lahm (as an example), you'll see they are the same player.

There are ways to get around the national team being greyed out, but I can't say. If you have a search on google or sortitoutsi.net, you should find it.

There's a file in the game that can be adjusted so as the proper player names are shown. You'll have to figure out yourself where this is, how to access it and how to change the settings.

I wonder though, why would someone on here get in trouble for SI making it so easy to circumvent the licence issues?

SI basically set it up as if to say "we programmed everything in Germany, France and Japan to work just like real life. All you have to do is get rid of one file and it'll work."

But if i tell you which file it is, i get TEH BANT!

France does not have any problems in this version.

I wouldn't know, since i never have France playable. I just assumed there was an issue since the clubs are mentioned so often in those files we're not supposed to know about.
