Default Ideas for the Future Football Manager versions!

Just got of suggestions for the future releases. I'am just an oldtimer from the Amiga days and would like find improve in the future.

1) Transfer system. Just pay a lot of attention to it. I would rate that one of the key factors which will enjoyment to an another level.

Personally I do feel that this part can be improved hugely as it is know it does not create the voil'a gaming experience. There are plenty of threads describing in detail

2) Training + Regens. I don't know if it is me or if I'am missing something. I think this is another area(s) which will need greater look. At the moment these areas
have not been improved that much from CM days.

The development of players should reflect RL. When you have actually played +20 seasons in to the game than you notice that there really aren't any Ronaldinho's & co popping up as it is with start of the game.

Easy way is to compare visible ratings of the players around the leagues in later dates. Another thing I have also noticed that there are lack of good staff members in later years. Yes, some teams have solid backroom staffs but many teams are without complete rosters so to speak.

At least for me this another main areas when I play an manager game. What would be more fun than to watch teams develop new stars and the quality of the leagues remain the same.

3) Rewamp the tactics. At the moment there are sliders that don't mean much and seem to do nothing regarding the gameplay. I find it confusing... and no I'am not saying the game should be made easier. No, just so that the sliders would actually be explained by the staff who has designed.

The tactical forum does not give that much and a lot of them counter each other meaning. I still do remember the "good old" W/B and W/OB days.

I don't think the match engine should be focussed that much in the next version since it isn't that bad. (Once you sort out FM08's problems.)

Personally I don't think that media and other "minor" issues should recieve that much attention. After all these are secondary to the enjoyment of the game.

I like the new skin so that is a huge improvement from previous versions.

Really would like to see those 3 issues worked hard for the upcoming version of the series. Not looking that much into stuff being added when you can hugely improve the above critical aspects.

My 2 cents.

1. Agreed. The transfer system needs improvments.

2. I think is fine. Im in season 2030 and the players are quality, and there are lots of very good players.

3. Again, the tactics IMO don't need looking at. Well, not in terms of the sliders anyway. I'm happy with those sliders.

Oh.. so it seems. The search functions is not working in these forums as they should.

Hmmm, that thread was started in 2005! That kind of of "out" dated.

Just some suggestions nothing more. I guess you could call it "back to basics". There just is enough minor little things to in the newest FM.

I'am not againts the sliders but may those could be toned down a bit in the future.

It can't be outdated, it just continues on every year, there's no end or start for that matter.

Just add your contribution and see what everyone has to say.

Making so that WWSM can use the same 3rd partiy applications as FM. WIth WWSM '08 many of us made the switch and found ourselves not being able to use FFM, Scout Genie or others and for some users (like me) well it's a downside and a reason to keep buying FM instead of WWSM (whcih isn,t what you want in the end).
