as far as i know you'll get a new stadium if you keep getting refused planning permission for a few seasons. i've seen several horror stories on here with teams getting saddled with loans that they can't hope to repay due to the construction of new stadia, so i imagine it's a matter of time and luck rather than having a massive bank balance

if you're desperate, saving and loading before the planning permission decision is announced might help

Has this changed since FM07? I regularly get refused planning permission at Morton and Derby in FM07, but the next news item after the refusal usally tells me they are expanding the stadium so apparently the refusal of planning permission is ignored. I haven't had any news items telling me that members of the Derby board have been thrown in jail though :p

I'm now 23/24 season. Have sold out every year since 2016 in League Two. Still no new stadium even though now I'm in the Champions League, etc. Surely its blatantly obvious that we NEED a new ground to progress, if we keep getting turned down for expansion? Its getting a bit silly.
