Running 50 leagues.

Can I do anything to make it run faster?

Starting a new game running less leagues would be a good start.

Yea, but I believed that my PC would be powerful enough to run 50 (well 46 to be exact) leagues.

Some people with similiar specs are running ALL leagues.

Mr Noble has identified your main problem.

Other than that - turn off virus checkers, give FM2008 "high priority" in your applications section, don't run anything else that takes up a lot of memory.

Doesn't mean you HAVE to. I don't see any advantages of running that many leagues. 25 is more than enough really.

Can't. Says "Acces Denied".

I'm running Vista, would it run faster with XP?

Also, it's not using CPU to its potential...only around 40%-55% is being used and around 50% when it comes to memory.

Sorry, I don't know anything about Vista. Wouldn't touch it wit a barge-pole!

Vista is fine- needs a hefty system but theres nothing much wrong with it as a gaming platform, and the 64bit version is the securest version of windows yet.

It depends how fast you consider 'fast' to be. Some people may be content with the longer loading times that you get with all the leagues loaded, where as others, like myself, just prefer the game to move faster at the expense of extra detail.

Just experiment with the number of leagues until you find a number you feel comfortable with.
