look we all know that FM08 is just a basic update from FM07 so why not have some common sense and just make updates for the game. You will save money by printing all them nice shiny CDS and safe us from purchasing a bugged up game.
If any of you go and criticise what i just said shame on you because you know i'm right. Respectfully i will purchase the game when major updates have been done properly rather then a carbon copy of the previous version.
Surely it would be a huge update given, the new features, new players, removal of players, change in players ages and stats, change in managers, change in pics, skins, graphics etc etc etc.
So your basically asking that they make FM available for download. Which it is?
And you're claiming it would stop bugs. How? Updates can incorporate bugs and to avoid it they would have to have very little updated.

I think dispite some of the comment so far in this thread you've actually made an interesting point. I've said previously that it makes no sense for S.I. to spend time releasing fixes for bugs for one version then when they have got it as near perfect as possible they release a completely new match engine with the latest version of the game complete with new bugs.
what they should be doing is slight tweaks on the match engine from version to version and instead they should concentrate on making the off pitch side of the game feel more like a footballing RPG with more ability to communicate intelligently with your players and have actual rounds of dialogue rather than the odd word here or there.
By the time they finish fixing the bugs in FM08 the match engine should be perfect then on FM09 the whole situation starts again. It's unnessesary.

Er, no it's not. The biggest selling point is the new features included in the new versions. Can't agree with the OP at all - and his post doesn't really make too much sense tbh.
