I'm playing with a low profile team "NK Aluminij". In first season I bought a yungster. In the second season he was allready one of the best players in the team. I also got promoted to the 1st league. And then my "stupid" chairman goes and sells this player because the offer was "to good to refuse". Now this SUCKS! I would like to protest to the "board", or even make an ultimatum if they sell the player! Can this be done....the offer was lousy anyway!!

No option as yet, but it would make sense. An option when negotiating your contract would be good too, i.e. reassurances player x won't be sold.

It's just the way it is I'm afraid. Can't expect to keep big players at small clubs.

We NEED this option in the next game. The only thing you can do in protest is offer that player a new contract and hope he accepts it. If he does it's YOU 1 CHAIRMAN 0

Yes, I do believe there should be an ultimatum choice for when a board goes over your head. But just like other ultimatums you'll need a lot of respect at the club to be successful. I doubt after one season this would've helped you.

But don't forget even when they accept the offer you can still try to keep him by offering him a new contract.
