I am playing the English leagues in the "Vanilla" version. I have done the unchecking of the appropriate boxes but I do not get the logo's and faces in the game. Looking in the forum it appears that I may have to use the "Strawberry" version. The only thing that I have not done is to start a new game. I am sure that I have done something wrong. That is usually the case!

Many thanks Ter. I am afraid that at the age of 65yrs I shall never become pc literate. That is why most of my queries may well appear to have an "obvious" answer to some of the more knowledgeable and dare I say it; rude and impatient, posters on the forums.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of older pc users like myself. We rely on you better informed to assist the likes of myself. All of your assistance is always gratefully appreciated.

Oh! by the way, this years incarnation of the "great game" is of the highest standard. kind regards to all managers.

I found the game when the first version came out, about fifteen? years ago. At that time the only football manager games around were "Football Director" and one that I found on a giveaway tape in the old Commodore 64 magazine. Oh! yes and I think the Kevin Toms Football Manager from whence, eventually came the current FM 07 title.

In real life I played until a cartilage injury finished me at age 51yrs. old G.K.s never die etc.....!
