Is there any way to reference team kit graphics for use elsewhere in a skin?

using <pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre"> &lt;widget class="picture" id="T_hk"...&gt; </pre>

or

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre"> &lt;widget class="kit_picture" id="T_hk"...&gt; </pre>

doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm presuming this is one of those things where it's tied to a specific screen or can't be used more than once - or can you use the kits other than in the team information screen?
