Could someone please help me create a custom playable league. I tried using Stephen's guide in Fm06 and failed, and now I'm even more lost.
I'm trying to make the USL D1 and D2 and the Canadian CSL playable, in particualr without replacing MLS as the main US league.
I'd tried to make the CSL a stand alone league in Canada (failed!), and also to make a second league within the USA (failed). Finally, I tried making the USL in Canada (failed).
If anyone could help I would GREATLY appreciate it. I help run the affiliate site in North America and I thought this would be a huge deal for North AMerican players (a recent poll I conducted rated the inclusion of a playable USL the #1 request for gamers).
Thanks
Al

Well, the problem with this is that you can't make the USL league playable without moving the MLS teams, unless you follow Steven's guide, BUT remember the change the nation of all the USL teams to Canada first. As the TLA(three letter name) is the value the game uses to identify which nation teams should be in which league set. If it finds that there's a team which the nation is wrong in a playable division, it will either crash or have problems loading.
I was worried that in doing the USL as Canada, it would throw out the US Cup competition, which is entered by both MLS and USL teams (the non-Canadian ones).
I suspect that this maybe have been why it was crashing. The only solution I can think of to get around this is to make MLS in another country, and unplayable, and then have the USL set up as America....but that's not what I'm trying to achieve. The whole idea is to have the two playable side by side.
Any other thoughts anyone? Does anyone know someone who successfully did USL is FM06? I saw a version at one point....
