I decided to have a look around at the .edt and other files SI have already created to help with retaining players etc...and i was intreged (sp?) with the file called board_takeovers...i followed the instructions as noted in the file...but after 5 seasons the takeover i suggested never occured...is there a way to set the date of the takeover?

I would like to know also, because none o the takeovers i added have happened yet.

Maybe editing the current xhairman's status will help, because they are probably unlikely to sell if they 'love the club'.

In the game you can do this so a takeover happens. It takes about a season to take affect though.

You need to use FMM 2.1, Change the chairmans relations so that he hates the club, then change is loyalty to 1. After a season or so the chairman will sell up. I dont think that your will get an 'Abromivich' this way though. It seems just another fan takes over.

make the chairman's loyalty 1, and make the team one of his disliked clubs! just tweak all the stats you may think lead him to sell

Does the Chairman's stats have anything to do with how soon you can get new feeder clubs?
I.e. if you have a particularly ambitious chairman or impatient or whatever will he give you feeder clubs quicker? Or does it have nothing to do with it and it's just based on something else in-game like finances or trophies?

I'm Liverpool at the moment and I won the treble last season and am doing brilliantly this season, but even though I'm richer and more famous (in game) that Man Utd they still seem to get feeder clubs twice as fast as me.
