The problem is that i am a really big football manager fan and been playing the series since Si where partnered with eidos. I have played in every league really but one i cannot conquer..........La Liga. Tactics hate me when i play this game, and for once in my life i can really say i need help, can anyone make any recommendations?
I use 442 flat with team mentality 14 works great , short passing and slow tempo , def.line 6 , the only players that are not on team ment. are the two cent. def. they have sligth low. ment. , that should work for you
Yes it means clicks from the left side of the slider.
I agree with big daddy about attacking in La Liga. Most teams seem to want to play defensive and counter. I won back to back with Betis in years 2 and 3.
I've just started a game in La Liga with Espanyol and, I have to admit, I'm slightly struggling...
I've taken a relatively conservative approach (for me) so far, playing a 442 with mentalitys ranging from 8-14 (DCs - SCs). I've tried to take on boad the RoO theory (see here) but it hasn't been quite as spectacular as I'd hoped. Starting to think my original tactics (low mentality DCs, High SCs and with everything else inbetween) may be better suited to my style!
I've found that teams like to play possession football generally, and so most people would suggest playing a quick, direct game to counter the posession style. However, as my forwards and wingers aren't the most physical, I have played them at their own game, sort of, using Passing, Tempo & Width: 8-12. It's proved ok, perhaps losing games I shouldn't, but that's life I suppose. With Zaragoza, you have Milito who is pretty strong and quick, so a quick, direct, wide formation may suit you.
hi,im using barcelona,im at the 3rd season.for the past 2 season,i have achived treable(believe it or not).im using 4-1-3-2 or 4-1-1-3-1.Two wing back,two central defender,one midfilder,two attack wingers,two striker,Or two wing back,two central defender,one defensive midfilder,one midfilder,two attack wingers,one striker.
One thing I noticed about La Liga is they don't normally play 4-4-2. They tend to play 4-2-3-1 as they often play with playmakers. Eg, Zaragoza - Aimar, Espanyol - De Pena
