Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

System22 is infamous around these parts
Default My Basic But Effective Training Program

Just in case anyone is interested I thought I would share my veiws on training:

Firstly I start with the coaches...

I managing in the prem on championship etc I always make sure that I have a coach for each individual aspect of coaching. eg.. one for shooting, one for attacking, one for defending etc etc...

I ignore if a board recommeds only 6 coaches as the pros by far outweigh the cons.

Each coah must have at least 17 in their specific area.

Now for the schedules...

I leave GK as it is as this seems to work pretty well.

I then create 3 new schedules.... Def, Mid, Att.

Def... I remove Goalkeeping and Shooting Completely. I move Defending to high and the rest evenly as high as they will go.

Mid... I remove goalkeeping and move everything else equally as high as it will go.

Att... I remove goalkeeping and defending. Put attacking and Shooting on high and then put everying else equally as high as it will go.

I sort this out first day of a new game and never touch it again.

I seem to get a nice array of happy green arrows right accross the board.

Hope this helps someone..

"As high as it will go"???

Sounds like I would have a massive injury crisis on my hands doing that with my Foligno team.

When I say as high as it will go...

Obviously there is a quota... once my shooting and attacking is up high I will move the others up as high as they will go so they are medium and not high....

**Sorry Missed this off** The overall slider shouldn't go past medium... Apologies... Yes any higher and you will get injuries.

this is very similar to how i set up my instructions. ONe very nice thing that i have found is that when you do your midfield on equal you can put everything the same up to the highest mdeium and then you can push set pieces write up to the maximum! My slightly improved midfield!

Can you tell me for a coach to be good at training shooting and set pieces which attribute shoiuld be good. I cant get the finishing of my strikers to go up when the training is only 3 stars. If someone could tell me what attribute the coach needs for him/her to be good at coaching set pieces and shooting that would be a great help. Cheers

Thanks for this System22, I have implemented this training system and it has done wonders for my team, Heart of Midlothian.

In conjunction with WW2FAN's RoO tactic system we are currently top of the SPL.

Will update at the end of the season to give an overall view of the effects of this system.
