Firstly I start with the coaches...
I managing in the prem on championship etc I always make sure that I have a coach for each individual aspect of coaching. eg.. one for shooting, one for attacking, one for defending etc etc...
I ignore if a board recommeds only 6 coaches as the pros by far outweigh the cons.
Each coah must have at least 17 in their specific area.
Now for the schedules...
I leave GK as it is as this seems to work pretty well.
I then create 3 new schedules.... Def, Mid, Att.
Def... I remove Goalkeeping and Shooting Completely. I move Defending to high and the rest evenly as high as they will go.
Mid... I remove goalkeeping and move everything else equally as high as it will go.
Att... I remove goalkeeping and defending. Put attacking and Shooting on high and then put everying else equally as high as it will go.
I sort this out first day of a new game and never touch it again.
I seem to get a nice array of happy green arrows right accross the board.
Hope this helps someone..

Right your approach is completely different from my own.
I usually try to train my defs with a light level of shooting to maintain their composure; i let my attackers have some level of defensive training to increase their concentration (among others) etc.
to be honest, using even the default training gives great rises in stats at the beginning of te season.
what i'm curious of is your field performance (i don't use other people's training). do your defenders show composure with forwards closing them down? do your strikers keep their focus and push for that elusive win or show they're concentrating (like not shooting like dunces) etc?
