Hi,well after a long period of thinking which club to manage next,I finally decided myself for FC Porto.I know that they have a history with Mourinho ,but I hope that I could manage to lead this young and new generation to succes.
For the beggining I've decided to implement a 4-4-2 diamond style which is my favourite formation also.
The first question that I have is: Does anyone play now Portuguesse league and what are the rules about europian players in Portugal???
Hope to excpect more from me later on as the game progresses.

I don't know the answer but I'll speak for someone else and say wrong forum. You'll probably have more success in the general questions forum with the title "rules about foreign players in portugal" or something like that.
So for all the rest of you who are interested or have similar playing ground right now here is how the story goes...
Starting eleven goes:Helton,Bosingwa,Cech,Pepe,R.Costa,Assuncao,An derson,Quaresma,Vieirinha,L.Lopez and Renteira.First friendly against Celtic,won 2-1 played nice eventhough my players were not 100% fit.Lopez made two superb assists for Renteira and Ibson(later on in second half).They scored from a cross through Vennegor of H.It was a good match where my team were the better side with 15-9 score in total shoots for F.C.Porto

want to buy some players and I hope I will succed in bringing E.Johnson,Chen Tao,Giovanni dos Santos(loan) and Luizao.
Lissandro Lopez and the centre midfielder Lucho Gonzalez (superb) are the key players along with Quearesma. Milan bid £21m for Gonz after my first season and the chairman accepted He was a big loss. Try and stop clubs from bidding for him as best you can.
Ze Castro was a fantastic signing for me in defence. Athletico Madrid developed financial problems, which allowed me to sign him for £5m and he was ace.

Just finished two more friendlies won against Lyon 2-1 and 7-0 against Željezničar.
It seems that we could have a nice season ahead,but is it too late?? we'll see
P.S. BigBobJoylove,do u think Quaresma can play well on the left side?I Play with 7.02 patch and he is AMR/L.And what do u think about Vieirinha and Machado when you played with Porto,how did they play???
Quaresma can be play either side really. I used him on the left, mainly to have Alan in the team on the right.
Didn't use either Vieirinha/Machado and sold both due to squad size issues.
You'll find about 20 players return from loan in the second season and this can cause some problems. I had signed about 10 bosmans, so these added with the returning loan players meant I started the summer with around 55 senior players! Bank manager loved it when I went on a selling spree.
I saw that they have lot of players on loan and I think there will be room for Helder Barbosa and Leo Lima next season.For the others,hope to gain some money
Finished all friendlies,and I can tell you,it was pleasing to watch my team comfortably beat teams such as Anderlecht(2-0),Marseille(4-0) and Besiktas(2-0).I also brought Edinho,Johson(as planned) and Chen Tao(as planned) with Paolo Machado and Ivanildo joining the squad due to the canceling link between Porto and Leira.
Oh yeah,almost forget to say that I loaned G.dos Santos.Has anyone played with him and do u think he is worth spending 10m € ???
So here it is.The first officail match.And it didn't start very well.Quaresma got hurt(2 months without him )They(Setubal) scored through cross after just 6 min.But Porto was the one which dominated the game(24-9 in shoots)and eventually my team turned the result around.It was just matter of time really when we're going to score.Anyway Renteira and Pepe were the scorers.
First trophy with Porto,hope there'll be more still to come.
