Im fairing ok so far, but not great. playing as hull, i have signed some good players in griffin-rb,mills on loan-rb,malkay mcay-cb, some polish youngster -lcb, denilson on loan from arsenal-dm, paul anderson o loan from anfield-rw and lee trundle up front, and ian walker in goal. Starting away at leicster we went 2-0 up in 10 minutes but lost 3-2, then away to sunderland who had played 3 won 3, a nice solid 1-0. 4-1 at home to sheff wed, 1-0 at home to stoke and a very very dissapointing 0-0 at home to luton, were we created no chances at all, o shots o on target, but had 58% possesion, i will keep trying though, coz I love 433's.

Contrary to the common consensus, i played my pre-season friendlies with man city without conceding a shot on goal, and it is without a doubt the most promising start to a game i have had on fm07. The key is having good ball winning midfielders. With Barton, Dabo, Hamman, Linderoth, Zagorakis and Reyna i have good quality in depth and the stats for these are amazing and they create many a goal. Vassell scored 14 in pre-season!
Will post more results as the season commences.

| Not turned out the same way in the league tbh. Drew with Arsenal, lost at Villa. Just looks like with the one man up front there is never a safe option. If you set tm as run to ball, you just seem to get balls lofted to his head and give possession away and if you press to head, he has no one playing off him and so no attack is mounted. Like the midfield very much with the three, however always seems cramped when they opposition have the ball in our half.

my games a fix. no matter what tactic i use.. and whichever team i get sacked then hired from.. i still cant win a game.. its utter bullshit.. seriously no word of a lie. first 3 seasons i done class with Newcastle. and since then as Newcastle, Atalanta and QPR Boss ive won about 3 games out of 150. no word of a lie... this tactic i went 2-0 up.. at half time.. lost the game 7-2

Vintage- I don't know if this is a cause but if you continually change around your tactics the players don't get time to adjust to a particular system.....find a tactic you like and stick to it for a while, this should see your results improve after a few games once the players have adapted to the formation and playing style.....also make sure your players are well suited to their roles.....hope this will help a bit
On the tactic, it seems to have achieved some fairly positive results, I'll give it a shot and report back on my thoughts

I started a game with Villa and lost 2-1 at home to everton so decided to adopt this tactic, it had instant effect, I beat Chelsea 2-1 away from home! 2nd game and I thrashed Wigan 3-0, then lost 3-2 to United away from home but played pretty well, things are looking good, i'll keep you updated.

Hi Everyone
Nice to see people are using the tactic. I finished the season as champions of the premier league, won by 17 points. Shevchenko (FC) scored 39 in total that season.
Im now starting a game as Newcastle for a challenge, and also to see how the tactis fares. I'll mostly use the Away version of the tactic - and the home games for only teams i should beat at home.
Am very open for suggestions on how to improve the defence - as it does leak goals, so I need some pointers there. Offensivley though, im very satisfied!

I like this tactic. I've played 3 games all together and 2 of them were pre season friendlys against Inter and Real Madrid to test it out. I also had Champions League Qualifier against Chievo.
It's worked i mean on average i've scored 3 goals a game and in the two pre season both were 3-3 draws cause A) I did put on the subs at Half Time so that isn't the tactics fault.
What i've done with my Liverpool side because i brought Baines i changed the LB and RB's arrows from going down to up 1.
I put Baines to Forward Runs: Mixed, Run with Ball: Mixed and Cross Ball: Mixed. I did have Carragher play RB and left it the same cause he wouldn't make the greatest person for those qualities but i did bring Finnan on and done the same and beat Chievo 3-0.
I can't make a proper discussion bout it cause it's only been 2 Pre Season and a game against Chievo but looking good.
(Note only using the Home tactic)
Well done on the good tactic
