I've played 26 games now with Chelsea, am top of the league by 10 points. Qualified from knockout group in champs league with maxiumum points - it's doing very very well.

Anybody else tried it?

I really like this tactics mike.I was in the first season with Reading, and was already doomed to relegation due to not getting any kind of tactic right, and the team not seeming to gel.But this almost got me to the great escape.I scored more goals, and was surprised that the goals were coming from the 2 wide players upfront.

I tried in the last few games with the central striker more of a target man.I had sibierski who is superb as a target man due to his heading being 20.And he gets loads of flick ons for the 2 wide men to put away.Was wondering if you had used that before?

How is everybody getting with this?

I'm 30 games in, 14 points clear in the league.

My FC has 34 goals, my FL has 16 goals and my FR has 18 goals! Even John terry (right sided DC) has 7 goals so far!

FR & FL have 15 assists each, 2mc are in double figures for assists too.

My goal difference in the prem is +56.

Going very very well!

Tried this with Sunderland, Burnley and Chelsea.
Awful. Truly awful.
With Sunderland I finished 17th in the Championship, with Burnley I finished bottom, and I'm trying it with Chelsea now and I'm 4-0 down to portsmouth at half time.

I should not be getting a draw with Portsmouth at home regardless of how good the comeback was.
I must say though, with a bit of tweaking this may work. Obviously the defence needs sorting out, and I don't like the amount of ridiculous long balls up to the little men up front. I also want to cut down on crosses and have my wingers coming on their stronger foot to have a pop, so I'm going to have them swap positions, and I'm going to give one of the more attacking central midfielders a free role and utilise him as a playmaker...
