Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Keeping Goalkeeper's In Goal

How can i stop my goalkeeper's from going upfield for corners and free-kicks ('and who's this...?'), even when we're winning !!
This has cost 2 goals already this season - 1 resulting in a drawn match instead of a win, while only on 1 occasion has the goalie scored but did not make the difference between a win or a drawn/lost game.
I wouldn't mind at all if the result depended on it but not when there is no need, and definitely not when it could cost 2 or 3 points.
Any ideas?

Hi,

Have you tried with setting your GK's mentality to ultra defensive?

Also, in player instructions at the bottom, you could try setting his attacking corners and attacking free kicks to 'Back', and setting his creative freedom to low.
