I'm playing as Arsenal and have just been offered 25M straight-up by Man Utd for Reyes. Should I accept or not?? I'm only in my second season and he's played 3 matches so far and not been particularly impressive although he's got ratings of 7-8-8. I've been playing him as LAM so far. I already have Rosicky there who's definitely a starter for me. He gets about 20+ assists a season and about 8-10 goals as well. I've also got Guardado to play there in Rosicky's absence but he's still learning.

I've also got Wesley Sneijder in the team in case I'm really short of options. He too can play LM.

I definitely dont need Reyes as a striker because I have Henry (who's been on fire the few matches this season), RVP, Baptista, Vela, Walcott, Lupoli and Bendtner (last 2 have been listed for loan).

What do you guys think? To sell or not to sell??

ARRGHHH!!

I hate those Mancs! I had a proposal of 27.5M upfront, 1M over 12months, 500K after 10 league appearances and 40% of sell-on fee accepeted by them. But on the final day of the transfer window the deal fell through because, and I quote, "Jose Antonio Reyes' proposed transfer from Arsenal to Man Unt has been cancelled because Man Utd cannot afford the transfer fee."

Ok, so I managed to finally sell him to Man Utd. I got a deal of 28M upfront, 1M over 12 months, 1M after 10 goals and 40% of sell-on fees. He's been gone for about 2 months or so and he's already scored more than 10 goals. He's had 2 hat-tricks for them already (scored 5 in one match alone!!). Now I'm wondering whether I made the right decision!!

You should always try to sell quality players abroad and never to rivals. He will score against you!

Well, firstly I try not to sell any quality players to rivals. But I never thought of him as quality. Was pretty surprised when he started scoring heavily.

Secondly, have just played Man Utd twice (League cup and Premoier League) in the space of 2 weeks and I've just had Toure man-mark him and he's been rubbish. Put Toure on hard-tackling and Reyes performed exactly like in real life in the EPL! Two games and he had ratings of 6 in both! I won both the games btw.

Does anybody know, that if supposing I want to buy him back, what would happen regarding the 40% sell-on clause? Would I be compensated with that 40% of money when I get him back?? I dont want him, but I'm just curious what happens when the original team buys a player back!!
