A question - if the game, you can buy most players even if they require a WP. You can send them out on loan to an affiliate if you have one where he wont require a WP. My question is how long does it take before he does get the WP so he can play for me? And why I cant I apply for the WP, say a year later? Do I just automatically get a message saying that the player is eligible for a WP or what?? Help please!

Also, why I hell cant I sign U18's from Brazil??? I'm playing as Arsenal and when I try, I keep getting a message saying "Arsenal cannot sign U18's from Brazil"!!! Even if I dont get a WP for them, I dont mind sending them out on loan to an affiliate. Is this problem just specific to Arsenal??

Oh, sorry forgot. Another question:
How can I view what my players sale value is?? You can find out the value of all players other than you team using Genie Scout. How do I do so for my own players?? I'd really like to know how much I can demand before I sell a player!

Send them to a Polish or Belgian feeder club as they get work permits faster there, 3 years i think. Takes 5 years in Britain.

No this is not just for Arsenal. British teams are not allowed to buy Under 18's from Brazil or Belgium aswell i think.

There is no way of finding this out i don't think. Only thing i can think of is to resign from your club go another team and use genie scout to find the sale values then resign again and go your team again. Sort of takes the whole point of the transfer market out but its your game and you can do what you want

Regarding the first question, I read somewhere that if I do send my players to feeder clubs in case they dont get a WP, I can try and apply again after a year or so and might be successful this time. So I was wondering how I do that! Playing as Arsenal, the feeder clubs I can send my players to are:
Colorado (USA)
Gia Lai (Vietnam)
Salamanca (Spain)

I've already sent a couple of USA and one to Vietnam. Have no idea how long it'll take!!


Regarding the third question about transfer value of my players, I'm more interested in finding out how much guys like Fabregas, RVP, Gilberto, Vela etc are worth. I wouldnt dream of selling any of them but was curious. Also, I was trying to see if I transfer list a player, how much does his value come down by. I did think of resigning etc but was wondering if there's an easier way.

Are you playing the FM08 demo? As that telsl you how long it takes for a player to gain a diffeent nationality when you sent him to a feeder club etc.

Nope. I'm still on the old '07 mate. I'm way behind the world in terms of technological advancement still being on the ruddy old dial-up!! Still takes me ages to download anything!

To find the value of your own players, first you must have genie scout, second save your game. Resign, save the game under a different name, load up the second save in genie scout. Then load up the first save and continue your game with this knowledge.
