How contemporary is this discussion?

My Bradford PA campaign involved sweet-talking the media umpteen times a week but that was with 5.0.2

Now with East Stirlingshire I haven't really bothered yakking about other managers etc. as I got tired of it but with 5.0.3/5 the journos seem to have pi55ed off anyway.

Or is it just me?

If you spout off a lot about other managers.. especially if you talk a lot of Ish, your media rating will drop as well... I've been a "talanted" manager for 3 seasons now.

It's not just you Andy. In my time with E.Stirling all the press asked was the good old "You seem to be leaking a lot of goals" and in my promotion winning season was, funnily enough, did I think I would get promoted(or something like that.)

The only place i've ever come across other managers slagging me off has been last season with Livingston while I was rock (16 points behind 11th) bottom. Had the last laugh as it was mainly the Dunfirmline manager slagging me off, and it ended up them going down

I was 20th, Grays were 21st in ECS. I said to their manager that they might struggle to avoid relegation.

I thought this would UP my squad. NO...

They felt there was now pressure on them to perform :eek:

However it worked and we stuffed them 3-1 Away!

Is there any logic in that considering they were odds on favourites and we were 2-1 to win.

It works sometimes and it also sucks bigtime.

Would be nice to know if someone has experimented with same match, same tactics, same team etc., but with different gobbing!

There is no such thing as experimenting with the same match for LLaMas...

You play your matches once. You take the outcome as a big boy. Never ever even suggest that back again. Capicci? :luciano:
