Well, something new to me: 4 injuries in 1 game.
And as it seemed, no oppo involvement. Must've been a terrible pitch. No wonder why the home team were league leaders at that time.

First half, one defender picked up a knock. Can happen, but in the 2nd half all my 3 attackers were injured within 15 minutes!
Lucky I didn't replace any other player before that, so I only had to play with 10 for the last 20 minutes.
Managed to win anyway

(Almost halfway season 2004 now: Skarp 2nd in D1 = far above expectations.)

I will have to check what ground we played on, but you may be right on this one
Will explain the broken shoulder from one of my attackers. (Or did he just end upon the post after his header?)

Skarp plays its home matches on artificial grass. That's where we are still unbeaten.

It's been a while...

End of season update.

Season 2004 – Skarp in Norwegian D1
As newly promoted, boards and fans expectations were to battle against relegation. 4 out of 16 teams relegate from D1. First 2 go up to Premier Div, number 3 to play play-offs to a Premier Div club.

Ended 5th.
Stats: P30:W15-D4-L11 = 49pts, GD:F41-A35 = +6.

Well that's nice one might say. It sure is, but it could have been even better imo. After 25 games we were 2nd. In the first 25 matches I never lost twice in a row. But in the last 5 matches I managed to scrape together 1 whole point!!! Even a last game's win against the number last could have saved the play-off spot. But no, we lost 3-0 to drop even further.

Financial plus: Norwegian Cup! Only out in the semi's away at Viking (Premier Div). Attendance > 14.000 which is huge for Skarp.

The board and fans are delighted but I'm a little disappointed.
Well, onwards to the next season of Division 1. Again, no transfer budget
