2012/2013 - Bristol Rovers
Looks like i have an ambitious chairman :thup: , as he wanted mid-table in our second year in the championship. The bosman signings were fantastic: the playmaker did well, when he needed stand in for my aging scottish one. The finnish stiker signed from leicester finished as league topscorer, and formed a great partnership with my other stiker, scoring 57 goals combined. We were inconsistent most of the season, but thanks to the usual run in the final third of the season we had a chance of making the play-off. We needed to beat nott. forest away, and hope that blackburn lose to 8th placed Ipswich. We did our job, and beat forest, but ipswich rolled over, and blackburn stayed 6th.
Aston Villa easily won the division, getting 116 points!
Cups:
FA cup: 5th round, lost 5-1 to nott. forest (the rightback i sold to them at the start of the season scored 2 goals, set up 1, and got the MoM
)
LC: 2-0 defeat in the 1nd round against doncaster
Champiosnhip: 7th won 20 draw 11 lost 15 for 77 against 58 g.d. +19 pts 71
