hi does anybody know when a club becomes a pro team from a semi pro. Basically i'm cambridge city and have taken them from conference south to league two and still i'm semi-pro. I think this may be harming my chnaces of bringing in better players, however i do have 888888888888888888 who are pure class. So does anyone know how, why and when a club becomes pro? cheers
1. Player naming is not allowed here.
2. Please read the forum header for this and other rules.
3. We've discussed this issue a lot - have a search around for threads on it.
Anyway, back to the real question: Since the first time I realized that half professional teams could become professional, until now, 2005, I did not understand how this works.
And to be honest, I think Marc Vaughan forgot to make a comment into the code, so we will never know.

I don't think turning pro is understood by anyone. It's a grey area.
Not having access to the source code myself, I have no idea how well Mr Vaughan has commented it.
I hope it is before a team makes the Premiership. Would hate to have Johnny No-Goals (not a real person) working in the Factory Mon- Fri and then Facing Arsenal on Saturday.
