Semi-Pro means often that you play 100% football, but are also listed as a employee in a shoe shop or whatwever else.
It's a very grey area.

I figured as much, we have Semi-Pro American Football teams... It's a tough existence I tell you. I think I'll ask in GQ when the switch happens

Does the fact that you are not professional not heighten the excitment value of your game?
I think anyone reaching league 2 with a part-time team should be proud1. If it bothers you that much jump ship.
It is also a good job the mod's don't seem to be around!

Why would that Matter if the mods were around or not? I'm not tipping or bragging, and if you think Johnny No-goals really exists, well let me know what you are smoking and pass it along brother |

'Appy how can you say that this isn't a LLMM topic? I don't think that people running FC Bayern and Real Madrid have this problem. I think is a problem distinct for the small clubs that struggle for survival and therefore belongs where the small club managers roam. I think hope after my next season (when I can post updates) I will be able to become a Professional team. I agree with you on the realism issue, although it would make staying promoted incredibly difficult. Following your train of logic, if stamina were to be lowered would the job the payers have affect certain stats... like a miner having a higher strength or something?

I think the way the management act at the clubs you used as examples is very "semi-pro" or even outright unprofessional |

All it really needs is for non-pro clubs to be unable to train during a normal workday, IMO.

sounds good... but when would your team make the transition from semi-pro to pro (back on topic who'da thunk it?)
I am with Andy in where I think having a team labelled Semi-Pro is hampering my ability to attract Talent.

It's generally (IRL) decided by the Chairman, with extensive advice form the current manager as to when a team turns pro.
So, the switching between pro and semi-pro should ( IMO) be decided for you just like stadium expansion.
