Yeah I gave it a go - theyre pretty unstable financiably, and the players are pretty rotten. ******* makes a good AMC. Got them to div 2 (league 1) before giving the board an ultimatum over the stadium. We know how those go

I'm playing as Margate, have just started my third season.
First Season
signed as DC and a DR, both on a free to build up my defence.
loaned an AM L to cover for my existing AM L, but ended up playing more games as existing AM L picked up a 4 month injury.
Signed another AM L on a free to cover my loanee AM L after my main AM L got injured.
Finished 1st in the Conference South.
Didn't perform particulary well in any cups.
(I don't see this a major acheivement, as Margate seem quite easy in the Conf.South.)
Second Season
Fresh into the Conference National, Board expect to battle bravely. Transfer funds of 1k!!
picked up a MC on a free to try and give my team something solid to build around. Also picked up SC on a free.
The MC signing has really paid off, getting regular team of the week appearences, and the occasional player of the month.
The new SC is still young, and has mainly played reserve games. Managed to give him about 8 or 9 first team appearences, and he managed 2 goals from these.
Finished 18th in the League, Never quite dropping into the relegation zone, but never really climbing higher than about 13th.
Nothing to note about cup performances, EXCEPT the FA suck ass Trophy, in which I managed to get to the Semi-finals, where I was knocked out by a non-league team who had 22 shots to my 3 in the 2nd leg.!
Third Season
Board expect mid-table. I think that's a bit harsh seeing as I'm still finding my feet here. Signed a new keeper on a free, yet to see if he's any good.
Board given me 35k transfer funds, available because I was VERY shrewd with player wages in the first year, I think my top paid player was on about £220 a week, and the savings have been mounting.
Also the FA suck ass Trophy run last season probably earnt me a few pennies.!!
Saved it last night just before my first league game. will continue tonight.
