Jeez you guys are funny. There was a genuine person there who wanted to become a LLM, all you guys can do is behave like that towards him? If there are any moderators around here I hope they would have the common sense to realise that becoming a completely closed community, as you seem to be, and discouraging new people from getting involved is entirely counter-productive.

Surely you should be encouraging people to get involved and not responding with smarmy answers and unintelligible acronyms to people who are new to the forums.

Hope you all have fun.

I totally disagree, I am reltaively new to the forum, yet agree 100% with the rules.

The best way to integrate into this community is to lurk for a couple of days, reading as many threads as possible, then get involved with discussions.

And if redrum had read the stickies at the top of the thread list, he would know what the "unintellible" acronyms were!

Hehe. Sorry...

Fair enough, I agree it doesn't take much time to read the stickies at the top. (obviously I haven't read them all!). He wasn't made to feel very welcome though was he?? Only takes a bit more effort than some of the sarcastic and patronising responses above.

Lol, noticed it as soon as i pressed post!

TBH, he was given a fair amount of warnings and opportunities to read the stickies, but did not adhere to those warnings, therefore, he got flamed.

For managers that enjoy the challenge of bringing a lower league team to the top - without the need for tipping, cheating or bragging.
It's the way we play. We don't feel the need to ask about how to sign players, which players to sign, which formations we use, etc., etc.

Also, IMHO, Darlington doesn't constitute a Lower League club.

If you don't like the way we play, no-one forcing you to.

You call that 'being flamed?'

Pffft.

That was the pre-warming up, Scott.

PS: Where are the days in which flaming was an art?

Well it was my first so-called "Flaming", and for a moment i was getting kind of angry, but i managed to control my anger and let it subside.

Shame bout the dent in the wall!
