At a hastily arranged press conference at Molineux, young (ahem) up and coming manager Tony Findlay was unveiled as the new manager of sleeping giants Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Looking a little bewildered to be in the spotlight, young manager Findlay answered questions from the media with the skills and confidence of a much more experienced man.
Q: Do you think your lack of achievement and experience are going to go against you at such an illustrious club?
Findlay: Not in the slightest. I have read the headers and I think I now know what it takes.
Q: What about those who say you are just a ship-jumping Jock in search of glory?
Findlay: I refute these claims. I think my past record and my level of professionalism (20) says it all. If you have any queries about ship-jumping I suggest you RTFFH!
Q: Do you think you can avoid relegation with this team?
Findlay: There is esentially a good squad here but of course I will be looking to freshen things up a little, also I need to cut the deadwood and of course poach some of my stars from Stockport.
Findlay: I promise you gentlemen that we are about to witness an emergence of the real power in midlands football. If I can finish with a club higher than 19th!
