Well after an unrealistic jump I found myself in League 1.

No offense to SI Games but if you read the above, I would love to know your heirarchy at your job. Cant be possible! I am an awful football manager

Anyway, after some good results to begin with, reality sunk in...

Final positions were:

Stockport 06/07

P46 W18 D10 L18 F69 A64 PTS64
LDV Trophy Ahem
FA CUP Lost in the 3rd Rnd

After a close season I finished 11 points from the play offs.

My best result ever

My pre-season pdds of 50-1 didnt scare the bookies!

This is getting too easy, might go back to Bognor

Breaking News

At a hastily arranged press conference at Molineux, young (ahem) up and coming manager Tony Findlay was unveiled as the new manager of sleeping giants Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Looking a little bewildered to be in the spotlight, young manager Findlay answered questions from the media with the skills and confidence of a much more experienced man.

Q: Do you think your lack of achievement and experience are going to go against you at such an illustrious club?

Findlay: Not in the slightest. I have read the headers and I think I now know what it takes.

Q: What about those who say you are just a ship-jumping Jock in search of glory?

Findlay: I refute these claims. I think my past record and my level of professionalism (20) says it all. If you have any queries about ship-jumping I suggest you RTFFH!

Q: Do you think you can avoid relegation with this team?

Findlay: There is esentially a good squad here but of course I will be looking to freshen things up a little, also I need to cut the deadwood and of course poach some of my stars from Stockport.

Findlay: I promise you gentlemen that we are about to witness an emergence of the real power in midlands football. If I can finish with a club higher than 19th!

Stockport County07/08

P16 W4 D5 L7 F25 A30 Pts17 Pos 17th and safe!

FA Cup out 1st rnd 3-0 MK Dons
LDV N out 2nd rnd 3-3 (6-5) Accrington Bl**dy Stanley
FA Cup out 3rs rnd 5-0 Brighton

Sold my best defender for £250k and twice answered questions from the media about leaking goals. Wonder why?

All in all a boring season, highlight was beating the tractor boys 4-1 away in the League cup

I have £3.3 Million to spend now but we are £54k over wage budget  Must avoid relegation and return Wolves to their rightful place again ( or jump )

Will post again at the end of the season.

Mid-season udate 07/08

After jumping once again to another club tis time Wolverhampton Wanderers I thought that I was joining a sleeping giant.

Little did I realise that these supporters were as happy at my appointment as a Rovers worker on a redundancy letter day!

My remit is to finish mid table and currently I am sitting 12th. 10 pts from the play offs.

I inherited a team with 10 1st teamers out of contract at the end of the season, but have signed 7 to stay. My best D/MC will leave at the end of the year and I have bought 10 players and sold 4. However I am still 34k over wage budget pw and I am struggling to change that.

P30 W10 D10 L10 F40 A40 Pts40

Bought loads and got rid of many fringe players for a deficit of 1M.

Apart from the fussy supporters, I may stand a chance
