Beating a full strength Inter side 4-1 with kids. As Man United I was drawn against them in the Euro Super Cup, which I didn't give a toss about, so I put out a second string side to give them experience and save my starters for the tough league campaign. I was stunned to see them dismantle an Inter side with Toldo, Chivu, Burdisso, Samuel, Quaresma, Vieira, Ibra and Adriano so easily. They had ratings of 5-6 while my kids almost all 8's. I saved the PKM of that match, it was so epic for me.

I started unemployed and got a job in December at Rimini, an Italian Serie B side struggling in 16th. They are a tiny club with a 7000, 5000 seater stadium and no resources.

I took over with a fairly decent squad with one or two very promising youngsters. My transfer budget for the season was £100,000 and wage budget of £64,000.

My record is P22 D3 L3 GF39 GA18. I won the league with 2 games to spare. I have no confidence whatsoever in my chances for Serie A. The board have no money to give me and free transfers say i dont have the resources to meet their demands.

If i stay and keep them up it will undoubtebly be a far greater achievement. I am tempted to jump ship and leave while the going is good.
