Can't we have this at the beginning of the game for the first season instead of having to wait until the end of the season to decide for the 2nd season?

Would seem more logical to me - what does anyone else think?

I guess it happens the same time every year, and the first season starts after the decision has been made.

i have had the choice at the start of the game a few times, perhaps it depends which league you are playing in or which date you decide the game to start at
