Default This has been nagging me for awhile, what is "X"?

When you hit Continue and the game is processing, sometimes it shows you the forms and sequences of the clubs in your league. Sometimes it says WWLWL and then there's WWXWW... what is X?!

X stands for a draw or a tie, if you prefer.

But there is D, that's why it's confusing me.

X is a draw with goals: 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc.

D is a scoreless draw: 0-0

Could it be a cup game? If the sequence is specifically league form, then cup games are irrelevant (if you're a Division 2 team, getting destroyed in a FA Cup match at Old Trafford shouldn't affect your league form).

Correct- nothing to do with the type of competition.

Because it's a direct usage of the way football pools companies indicate results.
In the football pools goalless or not gives different points.
