Ok still finding this game alot harder than previous versions, but starting to pick it up.
I am Blackburn, doing fairly well I think. 10th in the league, in the quarter finals of league cup, and also already qualified through groups or Euro cup with 3 wins out of 3.
I have just faced Arsenal at the Emirates.
I went 3-0 down in the first half (after 30mins), barely creating anything, so had to do something radical.
I took my leftback, Warnock off, as he had a 4, and put on a centreback, I switched from my 4-4-2 to a 3-1-4-2, very attacking down the flanks.
Straight away I pulled 1 back after the break, sadly I conceded another from a corner, then I pulled another 2 back in the 75th and 85th minute, leaving the last 5 plus added on time very tastey, and I nearly snatched an equaliser.
Sadly I didn't, and my news message says:
"My tactical gamble fails"
Blackburn's manager brought his team's unbeaten run to an abrupt end today with his decision to gamble on a previously untested 3-1-4-2 formation.
Following Blackburn's 3-4 defeat against Arsenal, some pundits were openly questioning my decision to change the 4-4-2 formation which had been working so successfully.
I know it was unsuccesful in that I still lost, but surely I should be praised for trying something different when the normal was failing badly, and making a good fight of it?!
Atleast the fans were pleased with the result
