hi all
i do not post here very often as i prefer to just read everything but i have a problem.

i have just bought a 26" hd ready lcd screen and i am running it on a hdmi cable as my motherboard will support this but when i load fm2008 in it is very distorted and there is nothing i can do.
i have also tried to play the game in windowed mode but it tells me that my screen cannot support it but my screen will let me go upto 1366 x 768.

the only way i can get a perfect picture with fm is if i reconnect the vga connection but this defeats the object, i do not have a problem with any other games.

i am sorry for asking this but can anyone suggest anything

Hmm. What is the native resolution of your new display? Try setting that as command line prompt in your FM shortcut...

So, you'd right click on the shortcut. Click properties. Make sure you are in the shortcut tab. Where it has the Target: , this should point to the location "...fm.exe" (wherever it's located!). Add to the end of this a space, and then the text -fullscreen_width=XXXX -fullscreen_height=YYYY. Replace the XXXX and YYYY with whatever your display's native resolution is.

i believe the card is a nvidia 8600 and it is onboard graphics if that helps.

and thankyou for the info super bladesman i will try that tonight when i get home from work and let you know.

the resolution that the manual says it runs best at is the 1366 x 768 but like i said if i run it in the res it recommends in the fm2008 instructions it is awful and i cannot alter to play in windowed.
