ditto also my midfielders shoot from long distance every game even though ive got slider down to rarely and through balls to frequently, its like the sliders/options dont work tbh.

What you are seeing may be more a matter of the corner going where your players are than your players having to go where the corners are being delivered.

It looks to me as if the corner taker checks where the attacking players are before deciding where to place the corner. Which is reasonable.

The more players you congregate around the near post the more your corners will be hit there. Try moving them away and put more men far post (or just forward) and you will probably see different corners being taken.

Seemed to work for me anyway.

As far as I can make out, if you give the corner taker specific instructions it will override this to an extent but not completely.
