Default A suggestion for S.I re: bug reporting

Every year this forum is inundated with bug reports that aren't bugs. There are alot of examples of this now. People reporting a bug because there team loses twice! Or that they are conceding goals etc
It strikes me it would be an idea for SI to set up a section of the Forum and to make a large group of "approved" testers. That way they would get a proper idea of how the game is actually working and what they need to work on. Rather than have to surf through hundreds of pointless posts, rants, and whinges. Obviously it would have to be a large group and would need to cover the spectrum of different hardware out there. Also, I am not suggesting the other posts don't get read by SI as some will have relevant points but on the whole I think this would help Mark and his team alot.
What do people think?

Also an idea for all members who post bugs here to take on board. Please think for a while before reporting, maybe after the "bug" has happened, go make a drink, or do something else for 10 mins or so while you think about what happened. There seems to be alot of cases where people have suffered something they see as a bug and instantly dive on here and post it while still angry. Maybe if they took 10 mins to think first they would see that it may not be a bug after all. Just a thought

There is a bug forum for FM08, where bugs get logged and testers try and replicate said bugs, saves and screens can be uploaded if required.

Its already going on, maybe you just didnt know about it?

Yes, but the things you mention as not being bugs should not be disregarded, as often if you drill down into the moan you will find the reason people are unhappy is down to issues with the match engine.

After all its well known that the original release and to some degree the first beta patch conceded far too many goals.

Just because some may not be able to describe their issues it doesnt mean they should be ignored- especially as SI will not act on just the post and would prefer examples in the forms of pkms or save games.

He isn't saying don't post, he is saying analise what you see and experience first, before you post, I agree with him.
