I was just in a game that was 1-1 well into stoppapge time when my striker chased down a through ball alongside a centreback. He shrugged him off outside the 18 and moved in on goal, and as soon as he shot, the referee blew for the foul... while the shot beat the keeper. Needless to say I didn't score the 20+ yard free kick and dropped 2 very important points.

This seems to happen constantly, getting attacks ruined by fouls called late. Is it a bug or just bad programming?

I also hate the ones where a long ball is played and there is a race to the ball with one of my defenders and the striker. The ball is over played and the goalkeeper picks it up but apparently my defender commits a foul and is sent off.

Absolutely hate when that happens - it seems as if SI completely forgot to program the game with the advantage rule.

Hate when your wingman beats his man and charges into the box, jinks round the keeper... "It's a free kick..."

there evidently isn't 'advantage' in this game...
sad really...my players have scored loads of goals from disallowed goals...(wait, does that make sense?)

But wasn't that a foul? Why did YOU get the free kick if your player shrugged him off?
