OK, I'm Chelsea, and there are some players that are unhappy and I want to sell, but I don't want to give them away. Is there a way that I can get other clubs interested if the 'offer to clubs' thing doesn't work? Thanks
Playing them, in my experience, is the best way to get a decent price. Otherwise wait until the summer window(if you aren't there already), this is when most clubs have their full budget and a bit of cash to burn.
If you still get no joy then try loaning them out so that they are playing reguarly then try and sell them when their loan ends(remember to add the "recall" clause)
this is easy mate. I have managed Arsenal and have got lumps of money for the youngsters. I sold Adebayor (30m), Bendtner (35m), Hleb (40m), Song (20m), Diaby (40m), Muamba (20m).
Firstly, you should transfer list the player. Yes, it will make them angry but you dont want them anyways so its alright. Then dont do anything for a day in the game. The next day a few clubs will be interested. Once you see that, chose the option 'Offer to Clubs' and select the amount of money you would want for that particular player. It helps if you ask for money in 24monthly payments. Its easy to sell that way and you will usually get more money for players than if you sell them with straight cash.
Try putting the player's value in the "pay it over 24 months" option, with no initial fee.
Play some friendlies and play the player in them (don't know if friendlies which are televised help or not, but they might)
Instead of transfer listing them, **** the player off (change his squad status to a lower one or something like that) and hope he asks for the transfer.
Offer them to teams every single day. I've found that even if there's no interest today, it's still possible that a club will offer you something the next day if you offer the player for exactly the same price as the day before.

I've heard of this strategy, but not once has it worked for me.
