Hi all, I have done a quick search but can't find anything that really answers my question.
When I am playing, the processing speed is so slow its ridiculous, my task manager even tells me FM08 has stopped responding!
I have the latest patch, I am using a medium DB and only have 4 divisions in the English league in use.
I am running a Core 2 Duo 1.66 with 1.5 gig ram and it is regularly cleaned up.
I think I remember reading about this with the out of the box game, along with the problem loading a new game taking forever (which takes a stupidly long time!)
There's an option in the Preference - Game Settings screen that you tick called Threading (or something like that). It only works if your processor supports this function. Not exactly sure what threading is to be honest as I've never had a processor that supports it.

Anyone got any suggestions?
Bit fo an odd one really. Your PC is roughly twice as powerful as mine, and yet i can run it fine.
Number of things to check:
- how many processes are running? Kill any un-needed ones.
- virus checkers running - kill it
- turn on threading (option in prefs)
- virus/add aware scan your PC, could be stuff like this that's eating up your processor.
