I have Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 and I have been looking for a Saved Gamed Editor. I tried MCFM 06 and FMM 2.0 Beta 3.1 however none of them seem to work with USA version of Football Manager.

So here are the steps I have taken: 1) downloaded and Installed 2) loaded the WSM game 3) Hit windows and started either MCFM 06 or FMM 3.1 4) click load game - and it saves game not found.

I guess I'm not sure what else to do. I appologize for my ignorance but if anyone could I would really appreciate it.

They won't work with WSM. I'm not a developer or anything so I don't know how to make them work but I imagine it wouldn't be that hard since they are the same game essentially.

That is one unfortunate aspect of WSM: very little support by third party developers

The exact reason I pay the pounds to import FM from across the pond.

oh well. I was hoping for maybe a patch or something was out there. But i guess this confirms that WSM 2006 gets no attention...:-(

If you have the wsm disk version there is a way around it. If you used digital dl there is no way around it.

What is the way around it? Would it work with WSM 07?

Im unsure if it would work with wsm 2007 because i dont have a copy yet,but.....it should,youd have to wait for a patch though.

Basically the way around it is...download the FM patch,not the WSM patch.Then change the language in game to UK english,not US english. And finally there may be a file name that may need to have a name change..cough cough(WSM.exe to FM.exe)
This only works for the people who bought the Disk versions though.

would you have to leave it on UK English? Because I kind of like the US English better.
