can anyone please help. I have edited my Databas and have no idea how to load it. someone has said you get asked to choose a DB when starting a new game. I can not see this option please help desperate fan who really wants to start playing the game

ive got the same thing right now! theres meant to be somewhere you can chose your database upon start up. i cant see it...

When you click on new game, the game will ask you which database you would like to use. Hope that helped your quieries.

once you edit/create a new database. it is normally stored at mydocumnets/sportsinter.../fm2007/db (just check it is there before you start a new game.

as the previous post already mentions, you have to start a new game, once you do it will ask you to select from the databases..near where it says default (right side of) there should be a drop down arrow, click on that and select your saved database.
and the game will load from your edited database.

I've been trying this for ages, sometimes it allows me to select which database i want to use, but most of the time (i'd say at least 99%) it only uses the default one.

Can anyone clear up what i'm doing wrong. i've tried useing he preferrences but tat does seem to work.

i can choose which database but then when i click start game it just goea to 'not responding'

iam the same,iqam not getting any of the things jaan is describing,i think we should try and find out where we can make a complaint because this is a disgrace

Out of curiosity, what is it that you guys are actually editing?

I have managed to create a new world league, moved teams from other leagues into the English league setup. Altered status of some clubs and players, and so far there has been no problems in loading and playing the game.

i have exactly the same problem!!!! I have edited my game just by adding in all my friends as unemployed players and when i saved it i called it "database". But I can't find it in My Documents or in Football Manager 2007 game folder! Can anyone give us a step-by-step guide to doing this?
