after purchasing FM07, i installed it ok, and it ran down to conference N/S as it did in FM06...i played 10 games as Fisher..was fine, started another game as scarborough.was fine

THEN

i tried to start a new game, but it loads all the leagues etc. but freezes after loading them ( before the 'add manager' page")...this happens every single time, even if i try to load one league with a small database. the program "is not repsonding..end now" etc.

SO

i swapped my version of FM07 for a new version, yet this version does exactly the same thing..i have not touched the data editor or anything, and i dont see why FM will not work anymore ??

PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me / tell me what is wrong...as i have the required spec etc and have not fiddled with any data

TRy deleting the saved games as they may be corrupt.then remove all files from the computer as againa file may be corrupt.then re install.it might not work but worth a shot

it doesnt work ...i have uninstalled and re-installed everything numerous times :S ...thanks anywways..anyone else??

ryt you will have to completely uninstall it

then go to my computer
then to program files
then to sports interactive
then delete the fm 2007 folder all of it

and then completely install it agen

i have tried both methods but nothing seems to be working

however, the game continues to work if i play a network game..perhaps this could mean that its a database issue?? as i can run others peoples db, though it locks up when it has loaded mine....even thoought i havent touched the db editor on each of my 2 versions of FM07..nt sure ?????

any more ideas will be much appreciated :thup:
