I've been thinking about making the Basque Country (Pays Basque in the game) a nation separate from Spain, with its own leagues, cup, etc. Ideally, I would take every Basque team from the Spanish 3rd and Regional divisions and make two leagues from that.

Is it possible to make this work? I don't plan on having this league be playable, I just feel that it would be an interesting and fun project.

It's possible, but you wouldn't be able to make it be in Europe as the game would crash when trying to do the UEFA co-efficients. Also, they would be unable to enter any international competitions, although they would play international friendlys.

Hell, if you followed StevenHP's guide, you could make it playable.

I tried to make some of those unplayable nations, Yugoslavia etc.. Playable, and it automatically entered them into the Euro qualifying which looks like they can play international tournaments now.

yea i found teams like Great Britian, U.S.S.R, West & East Germany On The Editor For 03/04 so i put GB's reputation up to the same standards as countries like germany & france,put all there statistics up, gave them the millenium stadium, and stanley matthews as a manager,but kept there coefficents & fifa ranks at 0, and when i started the game they had been put into the euro 2004 qualifiers, though..alright cool but then noticed they had no fixtures against any of the teams in there group & they had played no games or anything where as all the other teams had played 4, i didnt play any further though, i was just seeing if it would work

What league is the best (easiest) to replace to make the league playabe as I have tried it several times but havnt been able to make it work.

Well, IMO Israel(3 leagues of 12) is probably easiest to reaplce, but it has a limitation of max of 5 foreign players in the squad and has the odd rules of each team playing each other three times.

Thanks i mite try that as I am trying to change Australias leagues to add more teams but can't get it to work. I have swapped the Australian and belarus league but the game crashes when trying to find out the asian champions league qualifiers, what am i supposed to set the leagues and Australiass confederations to?

Well, I've tested leagues(I have no idea why, I guess I'm just bored) and found the following ones work:

China, Israel, Indonesia, Malaysia, Romania, South Africa, Scotland(although with Scotland you need at least 16(number may be wrong, but this is a safeguard) teams from your nation to be in "A Lower Division" for FA Cup non-league entries) and a couple others I forgot which I will try to remember for later.

Thanks maybe I was just trying it with the wrong leagues. I have tried swapping Aus teams into israel and so far it has got past Asian Champions leagues and worked now got to wait till the next season for European champions league to see if it worked.

Thanks again for your help I was starting to think it was impossible, Here is the thread I posted what I wanted what I wanted to do in, however I didnt really get the help I needed in it (though I dont think I made much sense ).
