It's called highlights. You can set it to full (whole game), extended (shots, yellow cards, injuries, etc.), key (just major events), or commentary only (nothing).

It's in 2D. Always has been. And that's a good thing in my opinion.

im not sure whether it is a good thing (!) dont tell me that you wouldnt like to see your team counter attack a team like manchester united on the break! but if it slows down the rest of the develop then i think that its worth sacrificing!

I do see my team counter-attacking Manchester United. Like good poetry, what's left unsaid is more powerful than what is. Every management 3D match engines look crap. I went there.

Leave it as 2D until they can get a proper 3D engine that looks quality.

The 3D engines aren't good enough to be used so just stick with 2D
