Hallo all,

To be Frankly I guess I stink at this game, however I love it

I started a game with minor Spanish club Poli Ejido, as I thought I could learn from it. And use the the things I learned through the Hint and Tips guide by Vaughen and Company.

However 8 games into the League Ive lost 6, drawn 1 and won 1.

All that with, in my perspective, a talented squad:

Miguel Angel Tena and Dorin Goain in center defense, Sunny and Usero on def. midfield and Vega/Salas on the sides - Using a 4231.

What I learned is, that my Wingbacks isn't quiet that good, though I've got Areno injured and sold off Cristian to Bordeaux.

From that Info - Can anybody hint and help me ??

If you want help with your tactics I sugest posting more about it, a 4-2-3-1 could look like anything really...

Also player-naming for a spanish minor team, might not be that helpful since these players are generally not well known, instead stating their strengths and weaknesses will help more.

I've read some of the stuff. Very analytical and well focused. Now I've managed to get the team out of the relegationzone, by a new 451 tactic based on ideas from the tactics bible.

Still the system needs work on, as my away matches is still really shaky.

Stick at it, keep studying the guides, and eventually it will fall into place. When you get some good results with your own tactic, you will feel great.

Tips for away games.

Reduced forward runs (especially full backs)
Play narrower (reduce width)
Increase time wasting
Lower mentality (usually around 8-12)
Lower D-Line

I'll use that to tweak my away tactic.

Still I feel that the team uses too many chances to score. I've tried to på long shots on "rarely", as Vaughen states in his guide, that you should try to be more clinical, when getting the chances (no bicycle kicks etc.).

You Gurus may have som ideas towards this ?

Guess nobody saw my questions as "tasty" enough ?

Anyway, I used some of the tactics from the aboved mentioned. Playing an Ultra attacking 4411 formation home against any team.

Start of season I won 1, drawed 1 and lost 9. Today with 5 games left, my little Poli Ejido team is placed 7 after a 14-4-14 WDL.

However still the tactics need tweaking, as the games I lost always was by standings like 5-1 or 4-1, while I've won against top teams by 1-0 playing very attacking ??
