I am nottingham forest. Its my first season. Its gone very bad i'm 18th in the league and only scored 16 goals in 20 games this is a link to my tatics:

I'm playing forest right now, using a variation of jep's eramus (sp?) tactic with nygaard and tyson and scoring loads.

i see you have tyson and sharp, 2 very quick forwards, are you playing to their strengths? if you gave both mixed forward runs and often RWB they should be murdering defences, so it must be the supply that is bad. oh, and a bit of CF

how about giving some more information or your tactic?

btw, i would play commons behind the front 2, prutton is good in the CM engine room but technically he is pants.

first in the league after something like 16 games, 13 odd points clear goalscoring is about 2.6, against is about 0.7 so its going well, but a strong target man + tyson = carnage.

one thing, i dont like signing to many ST who are the same, i.e. all quick dribbly types, good to have something different on the bench so you always have a plan B :thup:

Another thing is when i'm in the lead eg 2-0 i always throw it away any tips on keeping that lead?

still at work but cant write it again, but...

your team settings are a tad extreme, the tempo, width, closing down, and time wasting seem to high for me, most of us set a min/max lvl of about 6-15 on most etc width...

the manual says that time wasting to early can be bad, try setting it to 10..high closing down and tempo can tire your players fast, is fatigue a problem late on? i'd say below 70% you want to look at subbing..

erm...others...your passing is 1 = one touch football, only the top teams can do this, try setting it at top lvl of short, also manual suggests matching passing and tempo, i'm guessing you have a lot of chances but miss the majority due to a hurried shot, try a lower tempo..

holding a lead..lower mentality to say normal, lower width, take fwr off fullbacks, raise timewasting if on rarely, maybe tick counter attacking..with that formation try pulling wingers back to the ML/R positions,so you have more of a diamond..

btw, i'd play commons at AMC, prutton is fine for the CM engine room but is technically crap! commons is a much better playmaker. bastians is pants but he'll do a job until you can get a better AML (try going for lee martin, out of contract soon in my game)
