can any one give me some tips on how to stop my goalkeeper doing long pointless punts up the field that goes straight back to there team away from home. also my player wayne rooney goes straight through on there goal and he either gets to near the centre of the area and he either runs out to one of the wings or centre back who is a lot slow, less accelration and low determination but he still cathes him up.

when setting up the tactics of the team at player instructions for the GK set distribution to closest defender...

i use the preset of player instructions for GK's and work just fine
